Why this site exists. A playground to share what I'm learning, what I want to read and play next, the gear I use, and the little things I always forget (like whether it's multiply or divide in Unreal).
Hello world!
Why this blog exists
The purpose of this blog is to share what I’m learning, and to treat it like a place I personally visit. For when I want to know what I want to read next, or play next (maybe I’ll add a favorite movies section in the future). And to share with you, my dear reader, the gear I use. In almost every livestream I get asked the same question: what are your PC specs, what apps do you recommend, and so on. So I made a dedicated page for that.
An experiment, a playground
This website is an experiment, a playground, if you will. A place to learn things, try things, and share what I’m learning, for you (dear reader) and for me.
The thing I always forget
Fun fact: sometimes I forget how to do things in Unreal Engine, so I go to my own YouTube channel to relearn them. For example, when you’re using the CustomRotator function, dividing the Texture Rotate scalar parameter by 360 makes rotating a texture far more intuitive. You can use real degrees like 45° or 90° instead of values like 0.125 or 0.25, which feel completely unintuitive. I always forget whether it’s multiply or divide… it’s divide. So this website is here to remind me of things like that. But mostly, it’s not about Unreal Engine! Honestly, I’m excited about what I’ll write about, forget, and come back to remember. I hope to see you around.
